W – Celtics (91) v Magic (80)

Fiallen Game 14

  • We saw what was probably Quisy’s last NBA game ever today.  🙁  It was super scary.  He bounced off of Arenas and collapsed face forward and didn’t move.  The game didn’t resume for a long time and he left on a stretcher.
  • We got tickets through MIT to sit in the Promenade – so we weren’t in our normal seats.  Awesome bird’s eye view of the game, but it felt pretty removed from the excitement of being with the Garden crowd.
  • Jeannette’s wearing her Jesus shirt to every game until he beats Reggie’s 3 pt record.
  • There was a marching band at half-time! They were great fun!
  • We got to see Gino make an appearance at the end of the game too.

Happy Birthday Josh!

This is a beyond crazy week, so we picked up some slices from our little pizza shop then headed down the street to Parish for white chocolate bread pudding. They love us so much there, they even gave Josh a candle! Then back home for more work!

We had a great NYE with Gary & Daniel. We started at Parish for dinner and drinks then headed back to our place for Wii and drinks and snacks. Happy New Year!

Getting Home

It took us 2 days, 5 airports, a rental car, and 3 bus systems to get home after Christmas.

One surprise was a lovely hotel connected to the Hartford airport, that let us use their business center and print for free without being guests. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to use the bus tickets we had bought and would have had to buy new ones at the station, for a much later bus! Thank you Sheraton, you rock our world!
