Progress Update
We spent the rest of the weekend cleaning decades of grime out of the oven and oven drawer, setting up our internet and wireless router after the cable guy came, setting up the sound system, unpacking more boxes, rearranging furniture a bit more, recycling a few trees worth of brand new cardboard boxes because we couldn’t find anyone who needed them, putting together the kitchen table, and washing a few more window sills of packed in dirt.
We also checked out the SOWA open market. It is a little less farmer and a little more artisan. BUT there is a super cool antique market in the trolley garage. Too bad we needed produce and not antiques.
We still have more unpacking. We are waiting on a cupboard (Thanks Mom and Dad!!!) to arrive so we can unpack more kitchen stuff, and hopefully locate our dish soap in the process. We also have new chairs! (Thanks Mom and Dad!!!) Photos of chairs and progress made to come!

A weekend of unpacking
We got started on the unpacking. It is a monster job. There definitely isn’t space for everything in the kitchen. So we got started on some unpacking there, then moved on to trying get the huge wardrobe boxes unpacked and out of the living room. Currently, the bathroom has some of our only standing room.

From Cantabrigians to Bostonians
The final move. We no longer are of two minds, of two abodes. We reside on one side of the river instead of trying to straddle it. The last two and a half weeks were difficult in some ways. But it was nice to have a bit of time to negotiate the entire move. Speaking of negotiating… The movers had a tough time negotiating an argument between the wall and our couch in the front stairwell, and negotiating another argument between a different wall and our box spring in the back stairwell. But they were able to help us keep all our furniture. Now it is our job to find a place to put it all. Sorry for the poor lighting in some of the pictures, but we don’t have all our lamps up and running yet, and my phone camera is – a phone camera. Very convenient though. The pictures follow the jump.
