We had a great trip to Seattle, visiting family and friends and seeing some old tourist sites. The mountain even came out for Josh!

Bruins Game 1 – W v Sabres – 6-2
Fiallen Game 1
We went to our first Bruins game in years. They are doing a great job filling a whole left in our sports addition left by the Celtics and the NBA lockout.
We absolutely loved the game and had an amazing time. We saw one of their back-to-back goal combos that are getting to be routine for them. We saw Lucic lay out the opposing goalie. We saw a pretty chippy game. And we saw a win, 6-2. It was great fun!

Winterizing Our Basil
We winterized our potted plants. In some cases this meant planting bulbs and wrapping our boxwoods in burlap – in the case of our basil – we made pesto! We used fancy olive oil from France (thanks Shannon!) and our new itty bitty food processor (thanks Grandma Allen!).
