We made it!

Finding Newfound Lake with Gary & Daniel

Gary & Daniel invited us up to Newfound Lake, NH this weekend with them. We headed up to meet them right after the Celtics practice (which was already in Northern Mass) and stayed in a house just off the lake. We had a great time, hanging out, relaxing, playing Pinochle (woohoo!), going on a hike through nature and just spending quality time with our friends. We got to see the Sculpted Rocks Natural Area (apparently NOT a state or national park like I was going to say). The natural area is in the first few pictures in the gallery after the jump.

We had such a great time! Thanks again, Gary & Daniel (& Angel)!!!

More pictures after the jump. Continue reading →

Camping in Foxboro

Mama Jan and Grandpa are roadtrippin’ across the country. We went down to the RV Campground in Foxboro to spend the weekend with them when they were near Boston. We didn’t take any good pictures with Mama Jan and Grandpa Brown unfortunately – all we have is this beauty of Josh warming up by the fire in 40 degree weather:

But we did have a great time! We played Pinochle!! Josh even had a Double Run, one deal after melding a Double Pinochle! Grandpa has been playing since he was 17 or so and he has never seen a Double Run! Pretty great! We had a good time seeing them on their RV journey, zig-zagging across the States. And we had a fun time roughing it, sleeping in a tent in super chilly weather – but it was good to know the RV was nearby if we needed it!

The Parental Gift of Nantucket!

Our parents and Grandpa Brown took us to Nantucket to celebrate the big graduation and take a little time off! It was great to relax and be with our family, even if it was a little rainy! We do love Cisco Brewery and we love Nantucket’s cedar shingles!
