It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We decorated this weekend!

Our front door:

Putting our “tree” up and decorating it:
(Note our “fireplace” behind Jeannette – and we were listening to carols on Pandora on Josh’s phone”.)

I love that owl!

We put a few more ornaments & decorations around the apartment.

Ol’time-y Santa hangs through the pass through into the kitchen:

A set of angels:

What do a snowman, wisemen on a camel and a South American man in boat have in common?  Christmas!

I love mercury glass.  (Ho Ho Ho!)

In Memory of Grandma Brown:

We got a super fun wreath to put under our “tree” for some real green.  We tried to add lights – but found out that we hate LEDs.  They are very bah-humbug/Las Vegas strip.

So we went no lights (with our metal “tree” we needed less LED-like).  Someday we’ll have a real tree!  Maybe we’ll upgrade to a Charlie Brown tree next year.

Did you notice our “tree-topper” (or tree-hover-er)?

And finally, just some fun shots of our ornaments:

Pumpkins, Flowers & Leaves

We’re pretty astonished at how well our flowers our doing this late in the fall.  Only our purple asters have died in the cold.  Also – the cold is preserving our pumpkins quite nicely!

Halloween Weekend

We went to Gary and Daniel’s to share our pony keg of Bell‘s Oberon and to carve our pumpkins.  Josh recreated his childhood friend, Mr. Gourdman – with a dangling eyeball innovation.  And Jeannette showed her Celtic’s Fandom with a Shaq-O’Lantern.  It was a multi-day effort.

Before we left Gary and Daniel’s house, Mr. Gourdman tried on a few different hats!

Jeannette had a bit more work to do.  Magellan helped.

Now we’ve got the starting 5 on the back side!

They glow!

We love that one eye dangles from its optic nerve!

These eyeballs are “18”s

With our awesome view:

And now with our brand new patio lights turned on.  We strung those this weekend too!
