Celtics W v Heat – 78-66

Fiallen Game 15

This game was brutal to watch for the first 3 quarters.  It was as if two Washington Generals teams were playing each other.  The Heat’s “big” 3 didn’t play, and Bosh wasn’t suited up.  PP started for the C’s, and Rondo suited up, but didn’t play – so it was a lot of young bench versus young bench.  The C’s didn’t score until the 7th  minute in the first quarter.  Lots of in-and-outs, turnovers and shots just not falling.  The offense on both teams was just silly.  In the 4th quarter Sasha decided to have a career game in one quarter.  For awhile it looked like we wouldn’t break 60, but Sasha and the Fiala favorite Quisy got us a W 78-66.

This was our last game to attend for the regular season.  We had tickets to 16 games, but gave one game away due to a family emergency.

We have a tub!

They installed the tub and bath trip today!  It is always fun when the progress is so noticeable.

Painting Patches

Josh went over to the new place this afternoon and painted all the patches from where the contractor pulled the speakers from the old surround sound system.  It’s looking good!

Visiting our Fenway Brick

Awhile ago, we purchased a Fenway brick as a part of a renovation Fenway was doing.  They had some “visiting hours” for donators to go see their brick.  This week was Fenway’s 100th anniversary.  Even though the Red Sox themselves are crumbling (already!), it is fun to have our names on display at Fenway.

Our brick is at Gate B; we consider Gate B “our gate”  as it is the one we use every game we attend.  We walk to Fenway from our house and the walk leads right to Gate B.  Gate B is also where the new Royal Rooters club is located.  Josh loves the original Royal Rooters.  Our brick is in the Jerry Remy section.

Everyone got a duplicate, commemorative brick and display case when they bought the Fenway brick.  We keep ours near our Red Sox commemorative baseball from the 700th sellout game we were at, our rookie year Harangody-signed mini Celtics basketball and bobble heads – gotta keep all the sports stuff together.
