Tonight Josh was riding to Downtown crossing for our regular walk home from work together and, from two bridges over, heard a Zydeco band playing over at the Boston Children’s Museum. He turned around to go figure out what was going on and saw the Squeezebox Stompers playing an outdoor show at the museum! Jeannette met him there and we enjoyed a great night of Zydeco and signature New Orleans drinks, raffignacs, and beignets! We do love the Squeezebox Stompers.

Patriots Preseason W v Jaguars – 47-12
We went to the Patriots first preseason game of the year. We had lots of fun with Gary and Daniel, a pregaming a little in the parking lot and watching a blowout.

A new way home
We like to walk home from work together a few times a week. We discovered that the Harborwalk path could overlap with our way home! It is pretty and goes through the train station in South Boston. We like all the different routes we walk home and the Harborwalk is definitely going to be used often by us.

Red Sox Game 7 – W v Indians – 4-3
Fiallen Red Sox Game 7
Today was another awesome game. It was DP‘s 25th game in row where he hit safely. Laser Show! Last game we were at, we saw Wakefield get the Win, and today was an opportunity for him to get his 200th W. He got pulled after 6.2 innings with a tie game underway – so a no go for the W tonight. We were sad for him. BUT we got to see a walk off win! It was the second walk off win in a row for them, and both were on hits by Jacoby! It was so fun to be there to watch it in person and feel the excitement in the crowd. Great game!
We also SUPER loved this fan’s method of getting good use out of a t-shirt that is now unwearable!!!
