Yay! They tiled our kitchen floor today! We are so excited about how it looks – even though they didn’t remove the weird wood threshold like they were supposed to. The painters have been going to town with the lead encapsulation paint – it looks so nice to have the clean, white trim (the trim used to be a yellowish, old looking white). They even got that old, gross A/C out of the master bedroom window! We are so excited – it feels like we are turning the corner and everything is going well, looking good and on time!

An Early Goodbye
Since we got married, we have documented our apartments before we move. We make a silly little video before we pack or change anything, so we have all our regular life moments from the apartment recorded: how the apartment was arranged, little memories of where we ate our dinners, things the cats have done, and stuff like that. As we hope to be moving by the end of April, we documented now, so we can start packing. Here are some photos we also took. We have love, love, LOVED this apartment!

Arranging the Bathroom
Today we finished building the bathroom cabinet. We put it in the bathroom to figure out how far we could move the toilet, as the new bathtub is wider. We also figured out how we wanted to lay our kitchen floor tiles. The new master bedroom medallion looks great in the light of day.

Demo
The contractors started demo today. They removed our kitchen floor and the bathroom sink, toilet and floor. The electrician started changing the light fixtures in the pass through over the bar, and upgraded our electrical panel!
