Go Pats!

P.S.  We highly recommend our real estate agent, Ken Snyder.  He is awesome!

It was super fun AND super yummy!  We brought the Wii down with us and played lots of games.  It was a great New Year’s Eve.  Daniel even made French toast in the morning!  A great start to the New Year!

The excitement was only increased by the NBA lockout.

The Green versus White scrimmage was fun.  There was a flurry of last second scoring and lead changes, culminating in an Avery Bradley 3 for the win.

The item of note this year, is that when they went through the whole roster and announced everybody, they didn’t mention Jeff Green – we definitely noticed and wondered what was up. The news wasn’t released until later about his heart condition.  We will definitely miss him this season.  We like him.

We went to our first Bruins game in years.  They are doing a great job filling a whole left in our sports addition left by the Celtics and the NBA lockout.

We absolutely loved the game and had an amazing time.  We saw one of their back-to-back goal combos that are getting to be routine for them.  We saw Lucic lay out the opposing goalie.  We saw a pretty chippy game.  And we saw a win, 6-2.  It was great fun!

We loved the weiner dog races, as well as the barrel and beer stein races.  Jeannette also got to meet up with an old friend from MIT at the festival – it was the place to be! There was fun polka music and we would be remiss to not mention the great festival food again.  We had LOTS of strudel, brats with sauerkraut, and cream puffs.
