Thanksgiving in Seattle

We had a great trip to Seattle, visiting family and friends and seeing some old tourist sites. The mountain even came out for Josh!

Dad Allen’s site should have even more pictures up from this visit.

Seattle Health and Well Being Check

Jeannette headed back west to her parents for quick weekend visit to assure herself that all was well on the western front. It was a great visit with getting to see family and a new puppy, catching up on some family business and also taking some time to hit the shooting range.

Getting Home

It took us 2 days, 5 airports, a rental car, and 3 bus systems to get home after Christmas.

One surprise was a lovely hotel connected to the Hartford airport, that let us use their business center and print for free without being guests. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to use the bus tickets we had bought and would have had to buy new ones at the station, for a much later bus! Thank you Sheraton, you rock our world!

Christmas-ing on the Oregon Coast

A good portion of the day, Jeannette got to hang out with her best friend’s little guy, Liam. It was pretty awesome. Liam is wicked smart. Here he showing off his tattoos and muscles… along with his love for corn dogs.

Jeannette was also lucky enough to be back in Seattle at the right time to catch a Dance Rehearsal for her old Academy and to see Becky perform. It was fun seeing the hubbub and craziness of rehearsal again, kids running around like mad, and the general chaos.

Meeting Simon

Simon was born 5 days ago – just in time for Jeannette to meet him on her trip to Seattle! It was great being able to see our old friends, Amy & Joe, even if only for a bit.

Grandparents & Fritz & Their View

Jeannette made a quick trip out to Seattle to see Becky’s commencement for her MBA (yay Becky!). It was gorgeous Saturday, The Mountain was out (our grandparents’ have an amazing view).
