Jeannette’s trip to Baltimore

Jeannette went to Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for work this week. In addition to a super productive day long meeting, it was great to tour a bit of the buildings and see such a prestigious facility.

The Cape & Newport with the Allen Folks

When Jeannette’s folks came back to Boston from their Bermuda trip, we took a weekend trip out to the Cape and then on to Newport, RI. We had a fun time going out to the tip of the Cape and Josh found a new favorite Cape restaurant, The Paddock. In Newport, we always enjoy the downtown by the waterfront. We had a great time playing cards and hanging out.

New England Foliage with Fiala Folks

Happy Columbus Day!

We took a weekend trip to Maine and New Hampshire with Josh’s folks to do some leaf peeping, antiquing, brewery hunting, and euchre playing. We had such a fun trip and loved exploring NH’s White Mountains – especially Franconia Notch – with them.

We spent our first night in Maine and found plenty of local brews to try while getting in a few rounds of Euchre. It was a great way to end a good day of antiquing and a nice dinner at the Portsmouth Brewery in New Hampshire!
