Winterizing Our Basil
We winterized our potted plants. In some cases this meant planting bulbs and wrapping our boxwoods in burlap – in the case of our basil – we made pesto! We used fancy olive oil from France (thanks Shannon!) and our new itty bitty food processor (thanks Grandma Allen!).

He fell asleep playing with his mouse and then used it to cover his eyes from the light.

RIPD Movie Set
RIPD is filming around Boston. They used the newsstand convenience store across the street from Jeannette’s work and turned it into an old VCR repair shop. They turned the storefront of Jeannette’s office building into an old pawn shop. It will be fun to see what it looks like in the movie.

Boston Public Gardens
Today we used the day to take a long walk around our city, running a couple of errands on the way, and then took a rest on the grass of the Boston Public Garden’s lake.
